About IIT Guwahati

IIT Guwahati, founded in the year 1994, is a multidisciplinary institute established by the Government of India. This institute which comes sixth of the first seven premium IITs, has been ranked among the top 100 of the world's dynamic young universities by Times Higher Education (THE) magazine, in the year 2014. IIT Guwahati is in the 8th position in "OVERALL" category and in the 7th position in "ENGINEERING" category in MHRD-NIRF Ranking 2017.
